Levi Johnston - Palin’s Future Son-in-Law
It’s out. The name of the guy who impregnated the governor’s daughter is Levi Johnston.
In his blog he introduces himself as a 17-year-old guy who likes to play hockey. Although he hasn’t updated his blog since last December, newspapers are reporting he’s still 17 and is entering his senior year at Wasilla High School.

And apparently, he’s a jock in every sense of the word. In his December 17, 2007 blog entry he writes:
“god, I fucking hate math. Why do they make this shit so complicated. sorry for cussing but this is stupid. Why on earth would I ever need to know x and y and all that. I’m going to be a hockey player. I don’t need the quadratic equation tyvm. Bristol knows math though, thank good. She helps me with it. Hopefully I can just pass this class and get on with it.”
So Bristol was helping him out with his Math. That’s hilarious. And he took full advantage of her. Johnston also stresses that he won’t need to study for a real job because he’s going to become a professional hockey player. Wow, I guess that won’t happen anymore. What kind of job is this guy going to get though?
According to his blog, his greatest achievement seems to be that he made Varsity Ice Hockey at Wasilla High School. So this guy wants to marry Bristol? How is he going to provide for his family? Oh yeah, I see, his parents-in-law are going to help him find a government job.
Johnston says he met Bristol in August, 2007 and had a big crush on her right away. His August 27 blog entry has the title “Met Someone” and reads:
“Her name is Bristol. and she is HOT. I’ve been with girls before, but I think this is the one. what do you think?”
Since his rise to fame, Johnston’s blog has become quite popular. Here’s one of the latest replies on his blog, possibly from one of his friends:
“DoooD, Your huge popular now, you tagged the right G.O.P. betty to buy your way into the NHL and more …… Be Proud Of Your Sperm !! ( do some talk shows and make a cool million )”

Johnston also has a MySpace page, in addition to his own website. The New York Post published the following excerpts:
“I’m a f—in’ redneck” who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes.
“But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in’ chillin’ I guess.”
“Ya f - - - with me I’ll kick [your] ass.”
Johnston also maintains he is “in a relationship” but adds “I don’t want kids.” Oops, I guess that’s not going to work out anymore. Who knows? Maybe he was pressured into agreeing to marriage. He could change his mind though.

lol.. So now Palin can be a hockey mom to her future son-in-law as well. We already know what kind of parenting skills she’s got.
This is what happens when you refuse to teach your daughter about contraception and you tell her she’s got to be a virgin until the day she gets married.

Hahah seriously? you’re all kind of morons. I mean just because a kid makes a mistakes doesn’t mean it was bad parenting, I’m 16 and my moms not strict and I’m not doing drugs, drinking, or having sex. so i guess it doesn’t really matter on parenting cause if you guys don’t remember teenagers will do what they want whenever they want, If they want to have sex they will no matter how strict or not strict their parents are.
and Susan is right, you have no life if your going to get in her business like that, shes HUMAN HER KIDS ARE HUMAN! I thought it made her stronger, it showed people that even though her daughter got pregnant she still fought for what she wanted! You need help. You don’t even have the guts to publish your name. Which one of Obama’s surrogates hired you to spread this bologna? I am not sure why Bristol’s pregnancy is supposed to state more about Ms. Palin’s judgement than Obama’s sitting in a church with a racist preacher for over 20 years. And Hypocrite Governer - how was Ms. Palin a hypocrite? Her stance is pro-life, if her daughter would have had an abortion to keep this hidden from creeps like you, that would have been hypocritical. It is not wrong to teach your children morals. Just sometimes, they don’t listen. You don’t know if her parents only taught her abstinence. My parents were very strong against sex-ed in the classrooms because morals weren’t part of the discussion but they did teach my brother and sister and I about contraception and my sister still ended up pregnant at 14. If teaching contraception wiped out teenage pregnancies - California would have no teenage preganancies because they have taught contraception for ove rthe last 20 years. You are a moron and should be ashamed of yourself!

Susan, look no one would even make a big deal out of this if Governor Palin didn’t try to use her children to score political points. On the day of her nomination, her children were right there with her while she kept lying about them. It turns out they aren’t that great after all. And based on what I’ve read, she’s not that great either. In fact, she lied right from the beginning. She claimed she said “thanks but no thanks on that Bridge to Nowhere.” You have to admit that was a lie. It’s all over the news. In fact, she was for it before she was against it. And the only reason why she cancelled it in the end was because the federal government allowed her to use the funds for other projects. When she announced the cancellation of the project, she told everyone she was forced into doing so by the federal government. It wasn’t her choice and she only did so reluctantly. I don’t know about you but it’s clear to me this Sarah Palin is a big phony. And you know what, if she loved her children that much, she would not have accepted McCain’s offer and spared them all this exposure. Instead she put her own ambition above what’s good for her own family. The main reason why McCain picked her was because she’s an attractive woman. She’s obviously not qualified for the job. We all know it. It’s just that McCain has a penchant for young, pretty women he can control.

Attractive woman is debateable… big phony, no. All politicians lie. Hillary lied about Bosnia and Obama lied about having any political stance on anything at all. Sure, she lied but she’s in office. What did you expect?
Although, I do agree with you that she’s not qualified for the job and that John McCain choose her to pick up the Clinton voters, I think calling her a big phony is a little overzealous and a bit unfair. Everyone loves to talk up their kids, everyone thinks their kids are the best in the world. You can’t fault her for thinking that her kids are angels. If she hated her kids and talked them down, she’d be getting hit in the face with the You’re-Cold-And-A-Bad-Mother stick.

Hypocrite Gov. I agree with Susan. And besides what does it matter if the daugheter is having a child at 17. My grandmother had my mother at 17. Keeping and raising the child is all that ever matters. Doesn’t really matter if your 40 when you have your child or 17 as long as you raise them. Don’t know your age but seems you may lack experience in life itself. Keith. At least in my value system, there is something terribly wrong when a teenage girl, who is still in high school, has an unplanned pregnancy. Many right-wing Evangelicals also regularly condemn people for having sex out of wedlock. Now, that the daughter of the Republican nominee for VP did that, the world suddenly turned upside down. All of a sudden, Evangelical leaders say it’s totally okay for a teenage girl in high school to have sex and conceive a child out of wedlock? Are you kidding me? If Obama had a teenage daughter and this had happened to her, you guys would accuse him of being a bad father. I don’t doubt it for a minute. You hypocrites are sick!

If you think extra-marital sex is a worse offense than torture, spying, lying, the ruination of our public schools and our economy, letting our roads and bridges crumble and entire industries fail, invading other countries and sending the country into spiraling debt, trashing the Bill of Rights, the Geneva Conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and inciting Iran and Russia against us, and putting your own personal agenda ahead of your country and it’s citizens, then GDubya is a great president.

Keith, you still don’t get it. Just like McCain doesn’t get it. It’s not about abortion, it’s about prevention. Nobody likes abortion. It’s a difficult choice for everyone. Whether it’s right or wrong to have that choice, our society disagrees on that. People disagree on when life begins. Unfortunately, that disagreement is not going to go away.
At the same time, like Obama said, we all need to find common ground. We all agree that unwanted teenage pregnancies out of wedlock are bad for our society. Let’s do something about it. Let’s teach our kids how to avoid them. Abstinence-only education, which Sarah Palin supports, does not work. Her own daughter is proof of that.
You still didn’t address the other point I made. Why is it that Evangelical leaders now say that Bristol Palin is a saint? Any other girl and they’d condemn her and even call her a whore. It’s just because she’s the daughter of the Republican nominee and one of their own that they decided to change their tune. Damn hypocrites.

What an insightful, intelligent and thought provoking argument you make. No wait, I read it again…just provoking.
FYI..Democrats did gained the congressional majority in 2006, albeit short of the 60 votes it takes to pass any legislation. They’ve tried for two years to restore the balance of power between the executive, legislative and judicial branches as well as the transparency and accountability MANDATED by the U.S. Constitution.
These things, however, run counter to the Republican agenda and so their attempts have resulted in complete and total gridlock with the GOP (not to mention continuous veto threats by the President) and the label “Do Nothing Congress”, a right-wing propaganda term that implies the Demmies are at fault. Fortunately, uninformed voters don’t know any better than to believe it.
IF McCain IS somehow elected, this gridlock is not going to get any better, and congress’ ratings won’t be any better. Obama and this congress will work together to restore America’s economic, diplomatic and social standing around the world. (Oh, and those freedoms we used to enjoy as American citizens.)

We’re not leaving, and you’re the one that’s confused. Bush and Stalin may not have the exact same ideals, but they certainly do walk the same path.
Bush did not take us to war for “freedom and prosperity”, but for the insidious accumulation of power that leaders acquire in wartime; we’re far less free and prosperous than we were just a year ago. This abuse of power nearly PARALLELS that of Saddam, Hitler, Stalin and the GOP’s own party during “McCarthyism”. Intimidation, imprisonment, oppression and fear instilled by a sophisticated TV media propaganda campaign are being used as tools to gain and retain total power over our citizenry and government.
If important rights of Free Speech, Press, Assembly, Privacy, Speedy Trial and Government Petition fall so easily, the Freedoms of Religion and Gun Ownership won’t be far behind.

What is “her” choice should not be imposed on others. The anti-choice people only care about the baby, but God-forbid the child needs to be fed in an inner city neighborhood.

The debate about UNWANTED teenage pregnancy circles around the WELFARE SYSTEM PAYING FOR IT. IF a child is born of a teenager and the teenaged parentS are responsible and raise that child, then it is NO ONES business but theirs.
Sasha, not meaning to harp on you, enough of that has been done before me, but the Constitution FIRST became a “a matter of suggestion rather than the law of the land” under Franklin D. Roosevelt. Oh, and he was a Democrat. Pick up any history book and read it, and compare HIS actions TO THE CONSTITUTION.
And finally, Dixie (in particular but EVERYONE in general) let us not start name-calling as that cheapens ANY debate. Being raised in the south myself, i understand calling a shovel a shovel, but in this country, according to our Constitution, we are ALL equal, skin color not causing any difference.
As to the reference to “redneck” and “trailer trash”, a redneck was ORIGINALLY a farmer in Iowa. And trailer trash refers to someone living in a trailer, the modern equivelant of a hut or cabin. By THAT figuring, today Lincolm would be considered trailer trash, and history tells us what kind of GREAT MAN he turned out to be.

Well then, why wont the Republicans let: people who need abortions have them; same-sex couples have legal rights; all books in libraries not be open to banning; and voters in DC say if they want automatic weapons on our streets if we wish to vote on the subject.
It is amazing how the far right is very selective as to where they want the government in their lives. They want a lot of services and security, but they are not willing to pay the going rate with taxes (we are all very lucky with what we get in return for our taxes folks!)

Firstly I am not American - I am European and in addition very objective - here is my take:
Bush your current president in my opinion is not all that bad - he probably has the worst PR team in history LOL - I mean this man has given so much aid to Africa and other things. He has the misfortune of having poor advisers in which case he should have fired them - this is where he lacks - you don’t need to be overly qualified for the Presidency but your advisors need to be overly qualified to advise you.
Let us face it - Saddam was a bad man and democracy needed to became a reality… People do not realise that the problems in Iraq is typical of any country going through democracy - there is a price to pay for everything.
So George boy is not that bad, but having said that it is time for a change and while McCain is better in some aspects than George Bush he is no president.
Obama well I suppose you have to choose the better of the two - when it comes to facts and policies I would have to go with Obama not because he is exceptionally great but because he is the better man.
I feel really sorry for Bush though - perhaps history will be more favourable to him. Like I said the guy has the worst ever PR team. All in all, he did what was necessary.

Saddam may have been a bad man, but the good old USA put him in charge. We just sat back and watched him torture and murder his own people until our supply of oil from Kuwait became jeopordized.
Is the US invading other countries and shoving democracy down their throats any different than Russia or North Vietnam trying to spread communism to other countries by force?
If any other country in the world was doing what we were doing, the US and everyone from NATO and the UN to the March of Dimes would have stepped in to put an end to it long before now.
I don’t feel a bit sorry for Bush; he is a failure as president and as Commander-in-Chief. Every decision, from Iraq to Georgia was based on the oil involved…with no consideration given to his country.
I don’t dislike John McCain, but I would respect him more if he would be the maverick he professes to be and say “Jeez, we’ve really screwed things up”.

Boy, I have to hand it to you, Susan. You sure have guts!! Must have been a real scary experience typing a first name o-n t-h-e w-e-b.

I think you are the one that needs the help “Susan”, or maybe that’s Jane, Tom or John?

The Bush administration has been putting the screws to you for eight years. Wake up! Less government? Lower taxes for the middle class? Safer? Hardly! Yes, Hussein was a bad guy. There are lots of them in the world. The real issue is that Bush lied us into a war in Iraq, invaded a sovereign nation (we’re all upset right now because Russia invaded Georgia - huh?), and reduced troops in Afghanistan before capturing Bin Laden. The Iraq war has drained our coffers and made us less safe.
I suggest you tune in to shows like Keith Olberman, or listen to Thom Hartman on Air America for a while - and tune out FOX. If you open up your mind, you may develop an entirely different perspective.
PS Dixie? As “in the heart of…”? This “negro” is highly qualified and may, if elected, finally put an end to racism in this country.

Carol, what channel was that, that Keith Olberman is now on? Lmao he better stick to buying and discussing baseball cards that he chases. As for Air America thought they went bankrupt due to no body listening.

So far as I can see, the problem in America today is that we don’t see the things we have in common, we only see the things we disagree on. This has been perpetuated and used ruthlessly against us by our two party political system.
We democrats are not all “Far left”, none us LIKE abortion, do not want a socialist welfare state, are not unpatriotic, atheist, elitist anarchists bent on destroying honest hard-working americans.
Republicans are not all stupid racist sheep, do not love war and money above all else, do not like to see fellow americans wallowing in poverty and do not want to see our rights stripped away in the name of security.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but as Americans, we all love this country and want what’s best for all it’s citizens. We don’t want it running every facet of our lives, and we certainly don’t want it dividing us. We don’t believe that offering someone a helping hand is a bad thing, we were all horrified by what we saw in New Orleans in the week following Katrina.
We all love babies, fear war, all want good jobs and well educated kids, all want America to once again be seen as the bright shining light of the free world. We all tear up at the sight of the flag, when we see the scenes of 9/11, when we hear the National Anthem. We all worry about the world and the earth going to hell, high crime, terrorism, and spiraling national debt. For many of us, the 4th of July is our favorite holiday.
We would all get alot farther if we concentrate on what we all agree on, and not what we disagree on. Stop the name calling, stop pinning labels on each other and start working together.
We all have a right to believe want we want, to say what we think, to worship who and where we want, to defend our views, to look at the past and learn from those mistakes. These are the principles this country was built on…anybody disagree with that?
Stop being afraid. Let’s stop lashing out at each other and start rowing in the same direction.

Maybe it was Bristol Palin’s decision to have a baby—but we the taxpayers will foot the bill. I suspect she won’t marry before she has the baby—because then she and husband Levi would not have any health insurance (expcet MEDICAID) to pay for the delivery—and possible need for neo-natal care?????

Thank goodness the republicans are in control the last 20 years, if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have gone from less than 1 Trillion in Debt pre-Reagan to 10 Trillion to now.
We went from a demand side economy to supply side trickle down vodoo economics, it’s great for the elite and big business. Went from 33% Unions to less than 7%. Shrinking the middleclass, created huge inflation and gave big govt handouts to the most fortunate.
In the last eight it has been great setting up secret prisons and rendering people who have not been charged with a crime. Paying village elders five thousand for supposed terrorist then piling people into cargo containers then it getting so hot inside then to shoot holes through it.
It’s great violating the 8th amendment and torturing people. It has been great christian values straping people spread eagle on their stomachs naked for 24-48 hours lying in thier own fecis, water boarding people who haven’t been convicted of anything and having a torture memo saying its okay to crush the testicles of a boy in front of his parents. Or passing the Military Commissions Act in 2006 with replicans controlling the house, senate and pres, who says it’s okay to rape, violate and abuse prisoners.
Its been great attacking the 1st amendment to the constitution and squashing dissent and creating “free speach zones” and going after reporters
It’s great how the 4th amendment to right to privacy is destroyed and how all of our phone calls, emails and privacy is invaded by big govt. It’s great Bush started this in febuary 2001 before 9/11. It’s great under the Patriot Act, that big govt can go in your home without a warrant.
It’s great that now 7 mega corporations own all of our media and by their very nature is conservative but puts out its own message of calling themselves liberal. How GE owns NBC which also owns defense companies (donated 1.1 million to GW Bush 2000.) Disney owns ABC. Westinghouse owns CBS provides nuclear service waste disposal and operation to the govt. AOL TimeWarner owns CNN. Rupert Murdoch owns Fox News. It’s great how former White House spoke person Scott McClellan gave talking points to Fox News.
It’s been great how Bush didn’t have one meeting on terrorism or did one action to prevent it and yet is still looked at being strong on defense and how no one was fired for dropping the ball on 9/11
It’s been great how the speculators markets have be deregulated and how this led to high food, oil and commodities have raised in prices.
It’s great how our huge debt with zero answer from the republicans on how to pay it off but to only offer lower taxes has resulted in our dollar losing 40% of it’s value since 2000. Which then causes families to lose thier homes, cars, jobs.
It’s great how we promote more and more free trade and export our jobs to other countries and those jobs we cannot export, we import labor to save corporations billions of dollars. It’s great how we don’t build anything and how we are selling off our ports, roads and bridges to foriegn govt’s.
It’s great how our largest exports are military weapons, how we occupy over 140 nations and 50% of our taxes go to the military.
Thank goodness the republicans are in control and are filibustering every bill that comes up in the senate, the most in history. Too bad bush just had a bad PR firm.
Thank goodness the most qualified person for VP we could offer was not Mitt Romney or Huckaby or Guilianni but was a govenor with two years experience in the lowest populest state in the Union and a mayor of a village.
Don’t forget, Bush was a govenor and looked how well he ran this country..

Amen Thom. It is far beyond me how anyone, even a diehard Republican can look back on the last eight years and not be afraid. It really is like the Twilight Zone.

Are you crazy? Credit cards and mortgages that the left lobbied for. They cry because poor people weren’t given chances to buy a house and live the American dream. They forgot about something, hard work. So we give these welfare bunnies houses (welfare reform act - Clinton) Obama filibsuters for Fannie and Freddie (housing bust happens) and then people max out their credit cards to live a luxurious lifestyle. And now they can’t afford it. Good call, blame Bush…..Do you think Barry Obama is doing anything to save jobs or just spend money? We are doomed, but more importantly, the left is sliding faster than Clinton’s hand up Monica’s skirt!!! Thanks Barry you just coverted millions of dumbocrats!!!

Seems as if the Democrats are mad that the Obama fire has gone down……And to that Keith guy you just made assumptions that all Evangelicals looked down on people with pre-marital pregnancies but i doubt you have actually polled all of us to find that out. I think Sarah Palin is a great choice for vice president because I agree with all her views. Others may think differently but they don’t have to go and make fun of her or bash her children. I respect Obama even though I don’t support him and everyone else should just learn to act more like his/her age.

I am sure that if this great country has any chance of surviving and continuing to be a land of freedom and opportunity, we will require intelligent and well educated people in office. It has nothing to do with race or religion. It has to do with honesty, morals, ethics, and vision. I am so glad Gov Palin was not elected to the office of VP because she would have shot from the hip there like she does from her office as Gov. What we need are people in office we can e proud of. Whose decisions we can understand, and who pay attention to the will of the people, as well as the constitution.
